GreenLance is a Green freelance portal.

The idea is very similar to freelance websites.

It is non-profit marketplace for organizations looking for green assistance and individuals and organizations that can and want to provide such assistance.

An organization signs up for GreenLance and submit a green request (e.g. “We need help with cleaning up the forest near by N city for this weekend”).

Green Lancer (can also be an organization or an individual) goes to GreenLance, looks at the requests that are valid at the time and thinks if he can (and would like to) help with any of them.

It is possible to use different filters to find the most appropriate requests and to see totals (requests, users, organizations etc).

Everybody can share specific request using Twitter to call friends to help!

Winning in the contest will allow GreenLance to keep improving!

It is planned to introduce Green Karma system and  add images/videos for requests, to implement geolocation to help users to find requests near them or requests in the specific location, to allow generation/sending Green Certificates for the most Green Karma pointed Green Lancers and much more.
