SIP SMS Example

Live Video Streaming Issue

Hi, I am trying to develop a silverlight application that opens up multiple TCP sockets and transfers JPEG images from Camera to some other silverlight client. The issue is that the receiving silverlight application receives junk data from the TCP sockets. I will appreciate if you let me know how to overcome this issue. I look forward to your reply. Even List Scroller

Where would one start to create this?

On MSN's web site there is a control that I understand is called an EventList Scroller. There are little left and right buttons that a user can click on that changes the content of images above the little buttons. The images woosh to the left or the right depending on what the user clicks on. This is a fun and entertaining way to display content.

I am wondering what to start with to make such a control.

Expression Studio has a ScrollViewer. I wonder if you can make it scroll horizontally instead of vertically.

I have looked at MSN's html and it seems that they are using silverlight. In the javascript "silverlight" is mentioned by name.

The survey in our recent webinar showed that 'Silverlight and Sharepoint' is a webinar topic very much requested by SilverlightShow members.

We are discussing with Walter Ferrari - one of our very successful article authors, and the author of several SilverlightShow article series on Sharepoint - the launch of a complete article series on Silverlight and Sharepoint, where all important issues related to the topic will be addressed.

We want to invite you to submit the topics you are interested to be covered in this article series. Here is what we have so far:

Cover the three techniques to Silverlight in Sharepoint. Recently Microsoft came out with a Visual Studio extension to facilitate this process, details here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/pstubbs/archive/2011/04/04/add-silverlight-web-parts-to-sharepoint-using-new-visual-studio-extension.aspx
Interaction between Sharepoint sites and Windows Phone 7: what is at disposal out of the box, what are the issues, how to build applications that take advantage from both the platforms etc
Sharepoint has a feature called "quick launch menu" which is a pre-build navigation system; the series will explain how to build a Silverlight menu which uses the same enigne of the "quick launch menu"
Experimenting Sharepoint with Silverlight 5 especially with regard to OOB apps

After the series, we will also schedule a webinar where the most important topics from the series will be discussed.

As you probably noticed, Gill Cleeren has yesterday released part 1 from his article series on LightSwitch.
This series comes as a response to many requests we received to publish more and more up-to-date LightSwitch content on SilverlightShow.
