A global leader in the digital media space - based in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX - is re-architecting its core product line using Microsoft .NET 3.0/3.5 and Silverlight 2.x. To propel their efforts and continue the delivery of rich, interactive, market-leading, products, DISYS is seeking a User Experience (UX) Architect / Graphic Designer to join our client’s team.
Key to this position is UI design experience with Microsoft’s Expression Blend and Expression Designer, in addition to proficiency with Adobe’s web design suite. A brief description of the position follows:
User Experience (UX) Architect
The UX Architect will be creating instinctive, practical and scalable, visually appealing, user-centric Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), while working with internal and external clients to develop meaningful interactive experiences.
The UX Architect will create structures that help users accomplish their goals quickly and easily; partner with the creative team to develop intuitive user interfaces; and partner with the development team to develop wireframes, process flows, task paths, and schematics.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
* 8-10 years of design experience, with at least 6 years of user interface design
* Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Expression Blend, Expression Design, Silverlight, and XAML (Mandatory Requirement)
* Proficiency with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
* MS Preferred, BA/BS required
