Microsoft has now released the eagerly awaited Windows 7 phone. So now, no more wait as everything is out. Windows phone 7 has been something for, which we had been waiting since years.

Cool post as for me.Thanks for the info,just what I need,it would be extremely useful.While Windows Phone 7 hasn't gained much traction in the smartphone market yet, it's been predicted by a number of analysts and commentators that the Mango version of the operating system will get mobiles using it more notice among consumers. With Mango, they say, Windows Phone 7 is truly on a par -- at least technologically speaking -- with the major players in the market, iOS and Android.

Windows Phone 7 might be technically acceptable, but the words "Windows" and "Microsoft" carry some unavoidable emotion to a large number of people. Buying decision is closely related to the hope of maximal satisfaction, especially if you have a number of options.

Great article, but i have concerns over using the map control inside a pano, infact using any control that supports gestures needs to have some serious thought put into it. For example putting the map control into the pano items means that you are changing the user experience of how we interact with the pano, in that when i try and pan to the next item using a gesture this does not work instead it pans the map. I understand that your example is for illustration purposes of the pano, but also i think that you should make your readers aware of the Ux implications of adding gesture supported controls into a pano or pivot.

IMHO it would be great to have the guidelines updated to give a clearer understanding of what makes a good pano experience in comparison to a good one. Illustrating which controls to use and why.

My examples are written using visual Studio Express to be ready for people does not have the full Visual Studio installation. Please ensure you have the Windows Phone tools installed over the Ultimate edition, this should suffice to open the solution.

Is there a way to open the attached solution without downloading Visual Studio Express for Windows Phone ? I receive the following message: "Registration is required to continue using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone". I am using VS 2010 Ultimate.
