But the effect with the oppacity-Background (dimmed) doesn't appear on my application.

It seems that the rest of my application is getting loaded after i close the popup, is it?

Can you provide a link ? all the ones Ive found have a trial period, but then require to be bought (eg winrar).

The article was submitted by John Papa and he has provided the source code in a RAR archive, probably because it was more convenient for him.

P.S. There are also freeware programs that can handle the RAR archives. ;)

Software supplied as RAR ... bad choice as unrar is not free ? why not Zip (no other software required on windows) ?

Hi John! It is a very good tutorial. I want ask you why if I insert an image into Popup it don't show it and give me an exception. If the image isn't into Popup all works fine.

Hi!

Thanks for the tuturial but i cant get this to work. MyPopupcontrol is not SUPPORTED in a silverlight project it says in the Xaml code.

Also when i load the source code it does not work. I´m using Blend 2.5 Beta. It says in the project list that SLPopupDemoWeb is a Unsupported project.
