Silverlight 2 and Google Chrome

Google has just announced a new browser - Google Chrome. My first impression from Chrome is that it is blazing fast. First thing I tried, of course, is to check whether Silverlight is working. Well, it seems to render, but the interaction is horrible. Google Chrome is based on WebKit as well as Safari so I expected Silverlight to work properly. There is no info why Silverlight is not working, but I guess Microsoft will make it work with the final version (which is actually expected soon).

If you are curios about Google Chrome go download it. We will keep you up to date with the status of Silverlight and Chrome working together.

UPDATE:

Although, Flash seems to be working properly.

I'm on Vista also. It seems that simple apps are working fine, but more complicated have some troubles with the interaction. This behavior is clearly seen on the Highlights section on SilvelirhgtShow.net home page.

I don't even see my Silverlight controls on my page or any option to install it.

    Strange behaviour.

No interactivity, click a button and nothing happen, util I grab the border of the window and resize Chrome. On resizing, the code run and the Silverlight app refresh...

BTW, my app run OK in full screen mode.

The Rendering is not happening for me in Vista. But if I keep on move my scroll bar then I can see the Animations and changes are rendering, So looks like there is a Render Thread missing its link from the Chrome process.
