The 5-member judge team of SilverlightShow Eco Contest has selected the Grand Prize winner and first runner-up!

The best Silverlight application from the 20+ applications submitted for our contest is Carbon Counter! Congratulations to its author Daniel James for this information-rich application presenting different scenarios for human impact over environment. Daniel gets a trip to MIX10 in Las Vegas, including event pass, 3 nights stay at Mandalay Bay Hotel and $1,000 for travel expenses, and Developer License for Telerik Premium Collection for .NET!

The application ranked second is EcoLight! Its author Levente Mihály, who showed interactively the difficulty of generating power for each type of lights, gets a pass for MIX10 event, and Developer License for Telerik RadControls for Silverlight and WPF.

The winner in the Community Vote is Biodiversity 2010! The author Cigdem Patlak, who presented the value of diverse eco-systems in our life, gets a trip to MIX10 in Las Vegas, including pass and 3 nights stay at Mandalay Bay Hotel, and Developer License for Telerik RadControls for Silverlight.

All contest participants will receive a SilverlightShow Limited Edition t-shirt.
