Yesterday (16 Oct 2008) SemantiNet, announced its first Web-based product Headup during the company’s presentation at the Jupiter Web 3.0 conference.
Headup is your personal discovery agent to the Web. It’s an intelligent browser add-on that enriches your browsing experience by bringing meaningful content to you, using Silverlight. headup works on Firefox and provides easy access to personally-relevant content from all over the web. The data is presented as an additional layer on top of the page you're viewing. headup brings you discoveries about products, places, movies or bands you'll like or be curious about - all that without interfering with your browsing. Currently headup is in an early beta stage and is tested by a relatively small group of users. Check out the video here.
Headup currently runs on Firefox version 2 and 3 on both Windows and Intel base OS X. headup requiers Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 for its user privacy and multimedia capabilities.
