Today was the second day of our Windows Phone 7 Quiz on Twitter and our question was: "What will be the resolution of Windows Phone 7 at launch"? The correct answer is "480x800". WP7 is going to support two screen resolutions; 480x800 and 320x480, but at launch 480*800 will be the only available resolution.

The first to post the correct answer with the corresponding WP7 article link was @danielrmay, who has won an MSDN subscription with his speedy tweet!

You can check out the answer in this WP7 article: Hardware requirements for Windows Phone 7 Part 1.

You can find more information about WP7 screen resolutions in our WP7: Screen Considerations for Developers article as well, but this article does not include any information about the default screen resolution for the WP7 launch.

Don't forget, there are still 3 days left to win a MSDN subscription and a cool WP7 T-Shirt in our WP7 Quiz!

We also want to remind you of the Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Advanced Topics Live meeting, which has started this morning. You may still catch Part 2 of the training, which starts at 12pm PCT. The sessions will cover Bing Maps, Performance Planning and Optimization and WP7 Design. The meeting will end with a live Q/A Panel.
