Fried was behind the stage of the Windows Phone 7 team and learnt a lot of things, like the one that Windows Phone 7 is near to the RTM version, but won't be released to the end-clients, because it is still tested with various hardware to optimize the OS to run smoothly. Its first partners are known, too - Broadcom, Qualcomm, Samsung, HTC, LG, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
