Read original post at Erno de Weerd's Blog While writing a Windows Phone 7 application I started out NOT using MVVM. The prototype I started out with to get a feel for the required screens and navigation did not contain much logic and relied on data from a web service. At the time it felt like overkill to use MVVM. In XNA this is unavoidable simply because XNA is the only thing that draws to the screen and has complete control over everything howe ...

Read original post at Jake Ginnivan's Blog So to get started, let me explain what it is. It is a MVC + MVVM Hybrid framework, I think MVVM falls down in a few area's, and by teaming up with the MVC pattern we can achieve great testability, performance, navigation, lifecycle etc.

Read original post by John Papa at Visual Studio Magazine Want to make Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) simple? I know I do. First, I want to explain why I think MVVM appears complicated to many folks, when I think it's quite the opposite. In fact, I think MVVM can prove more valuable that not using MVVM in almost any situation. But for that to happen, first we have to understand what MVVM is and is no ...
