    Michael Scherotter announces that Ball Watch USA and Microsoft are teaming up to give you a reason to try the new Expression Studio 4. You should build one of the Ball watches in Silverlight 4 in order to win a real one!

    ImageRecreate one of the Ball watches in Silverlight 4 using the new Expression Studio 4 – entirely in vector graphics – no images or video.  The entries will be judged on visual accuracy, functional accuracy, and the innovative usage of Silverlight features.

    This is another entry submitted for the SilverlightShow ECO contest. It's name is "Mattresses!" and is created by Ian Blackburn and Nigel Tyrell.Image

    In the UK, 7 million mattresses are dumped and go to landfill every year, yet mattresses can be recycled and the steel from the springs can be recovered. This map shows live images of mattresses dumped in the London Borough of Lewisham recently and illustrates the benefits of a recycling scheme for them.

Ecooolight is able to post firsthand information provided through Twitter and an incorporated RSS feed.

    ecoLight demonstrates the huge difference of power consumption of different types of light bulbs. The best way to experience power consumption of different bulbs is when You have to generate the power!

    Carbon Counter calculates future Carbon Dioxide emissions and presents them in a graphical scene. Users can alter assumptions and run their own projections to see how various factors change future outcomes.  Default projections are based on scenarios from the IPCC, UN, US Department of Energy, and Goldman Sachs.
