Jeff Weber has posted an open letter to Microsoft regarding the Silverlight game development community.
I am pretty confident the Silverlight game development community will quickly grow to become as large(or larger, if the Flash game dev community is any indication) as the XNA game development community.

For this reason, I hereby request, on behalf of all the future and present Silverlight game developers,  an awesome Silverlight game development portal along the lines of what exists for the XNA Creators Club Online community.

  • We Are Bugs - addictive Silverlight game

Jeff Weber's Mix 10k challenge entry didn't win any prizes, but it still stays a cool Silverlight game!

In his latest blog post Jeff guides you to the implementation of We Are Bugs and two of the patterns he used - Model-View-Controller and State pattern. Complete source code is available for free in a new CodePlex project. As Jeff says:

Feel free to do pretty much whatever you want with the source.  Learn from it, extend the game, make derivative games, etc…  I don’t require anything specific, but a shout-out to Farseer Games is always nice. :-)
