András Velvárt shares some thoughts about the progress of Silverlight that occurred to him during the Silverlight Firestarter event.
During the Silverlight Firestarter event, we could hear Brad Abrams say that Microsoft’s goal was to get Silverlight on all three screens, and the cloud. The cloud is of course Azure (but would work with other environments, too), and the client side environment would be Silverlight. The three screens are the desktop, the mobile phone and the television. Since then, quite a few articles have appeared, and MS officials have officially stated that “We are 100% dedicated to seeing Silverlight" across all three screens”.
