Wow, that's awesome. Can you believe that in the future your phone will have a two core processor ?! My first computer had a 133 mh/z processor, while this monster is having a 1,5 GH/z dual-core processor and it's for phones! That's crazy, guys!
Qualcomm announced it is sampling dual-core versions of its Snapdragon chipset, targeting high-end smartphones. The Mobile Station Modem (MSM) chipsets each integrate dual 1.2GHz Snapdragon cores and offer 1080p video encode/decode plus Open GL ES 2.0, with the MSM8260 targeting HSPA+ networks and the MSM8660 supporting HSPA+/CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. B, says the company.

But that's not all. There's a rumor that HTC Mondrian will be with one of these "monster" chipsets - 1,2 Gh/z !!
To put the Mondrian's power in to a little perspective, Apple's iPad has
'only' a 1GHz CPU as does the HTC Desire and while it's not all about
the clock speed I expect that the Mondrian with a Dual Core 1.2GHz Snapdragon will be the
most powerful handheld. For a little while anyway!
