If you are interested in Windows Phone 7 development, and have read SilverlightShow articles on WP7 - get ready for our 5-day WP7 quiz!

This Monday, at 10:00 am PDT (see your local time) we are shooting out on Twitter @silverlightshow the first question from the quiz! The first Twitter user to provide the correct answer wins a 12-month MSDN subscription! One subscription given away every day!
All winners also get a free WP7 Tshirt!

    The rules for participating are:

    • the answer to the question may only be found inside SilverlightShow articles on WP7
    • the answer should be posted via Twitter, by sending a message @silverlightshow
    • your answer should include the link to the article containing the question, and the hashtag #wp7quiz

    How are winners selected:

    • the first Twitter user who replied with the correct answer, within the format requested above, is the daily winner
    • the winner will be selected and announced on SilverlightShow News and Twitter by Silverlight MVP and SilverlightShow representative for the USA Cigdem Patlak (thanks to Cigdem for the contest idea!)

The five 12-month MSDN subscriptions to be given away in this quiz include Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. They are not limited to the US, so you can enter the quiz even if you live outside the US. This MSDN subscription does not include tech support benefits and MSDN Magazine. In addition, all software benefits, including Microsoft Office 2010 products, are for development and test purposes only; the license is non transferable.

We are very proud to announce that our colleague Emil Stoychev has received an MVP Award for second year. Emil is CTO of CompletIT and co-founder of SilverlightShow.net .

Emil is the leader and co-founder of the Silverlight User Group Bulgaria. He is an active speaker on most local events like User Group meetings, DevReach, Microsoft Days and Code Camps. Emil is certified MCPD and MCTS since 2007.

We are also pleased to tell you that one of the newly awarded Silverlight specific MVPs is Cigdem Patlak, who is doing some really fun stuff with SilverlightShow and is a talented developer/designer as a whole.

Cigdem was SilverlightShow's live reporter at MIX10 in Las Vegas. You probably remember her great mini notes (day1, day2, day3) from the event, as well as her very interesting interviews (interview with Adam Kinneyinterview with Laurent Bugnion) with key speakers at the event. She is also the author of our Get Started section and has reported some events (Yazgelistir Summit Report Series: Presentations and Yazgelistir Summit Report Series: Keynote). Last but not least, Cigdem's Biodiversity 2010 application got the highest average rating in the SilverlightShow ECO contest.

Congratulations to both of them and keep up the good work!
