JustCode provides fast, solution-wide real-time code analysis and error checking, unobtrusive code navigation, and smart refactoring

Waltham, MA, November 18, 2009 – Telerik, the leading vendor of development tools and user interface components for .NET, today announced the release of its JustCodeÔ add-in for Microsoft Visual StudioÒ 2005 and 2008. A fast, agile, multi-language solution, JustCode is designed to increase developer productivity through real-time code analysis, unobtrusive code navigation, and smart refactoring.

“Enhancing our portfolio with an indispensible productivity tool like JustCode marks another milestone in our efforts to minimize development complexity and coding time for .NET developers,” said Hristo Kosev, Telerik CTO. “When working with large solutions, peak performance is essential; add-ins that slow Visual Studio are intolerable. We saw the need for a tool that improves productivity without compromising performance and designed JustCode to work for developers without infringing on Visual Studio’s operational speed. We believe that JustCode will be a valuable part of every developer .NET toolbox.“

JustCode’s greatest benefits lie within its solution-wide analysis module. The module works incrementally in a separate background process, allowing it to work rapidly while leaving Visual Studio’s processes unaffected by analysis tasks. As a result, Visual Studio remains responsive and unhindered by JustCode during editing.

By introducing a robust set of powerful features to Visual Studio, including coding assistance, code navigation, on-the-fly error highlighting, quick error correction and a growing catalog of helpful refactorings, JustCode increases developer productivity levels. All features can be accessed unobtrusively with minimal dialog use, facilitating quick and easy code modification without leaving the keyboard.

Additionally, with a cross-language code analysis engine, JustCode effortlessly handles solutions using multiple languages, undertaking code navigation and search, refactoring, and coding assistance for C#, VB.NET, XAML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML. JustCode also raises the bar for JavaScript productivity with its industry-leading support for JavaScript code analysis, code navigation, and refactorings.

Originally developed by software development and consulting firm, Omnicore, JustCode was acquired by Telerik in 2009. Omnicore’s company founders, who performed doctoral research in the area of code analysis, have since joined Telerik as part of its ongoing JustCode product development team.

    Licensing and Availability

The first version of JustCode is now available, with a Beta go-live license. The product will be launched commercially in Q1 2010. Additional information and complete download instructions are available online at www.telerik.com/justcode.

Because Lee is new to Silverlight RadGridView control he is having multiple issues and needs your help.

    1. With 10  rows of data. It is just not usable as scrolling takes long time. that is just for starters

    2. I dont want to display any RowIndicator for the inner RadGridView. The property  “RowIndicatorVisibility” works correctly when set to “Collapsed” on the outer RadGridView when you add this property to the Inner RadGridView. you dont see any data in the Inner RadGridView

    3. When the filter is applied, the inner RadGridView will not display any data

Thanks to the Telerik folks Lee’s problems got some clarity!
