    The first who dared to apply in our challenging Eco Contest is Robert Hellestrae with his Environmental Economics application. In this app, Robert uses Bing Maps to create an interactive mapping experience and to present environmental stats of different regions in the world. We hope that this first application will bring many more inspiring contest entries.

    Our new Silverlight Eco Contest is now here!

    With this year's Forests Eco Contest we at SilverlightShow are trying to spark the creativity of all environment friendly Silverlight developers and designers. Create a Silverlight application that helps convey the idea of the need for sustainable forests management and participate in the celebration of forests throughout 2011 and beyond.

    Our Grand Prize winner will receive a trip to MIX11 event, 12-14 April 2011, in Las Vegas!

    The trip includes a MIX11 pass, 3-night hotel stay at Mandalay Bay Hotel and travel expense coverage of up to $800! Two more MIX11 passes and many Telerik developer licenses await the winners!

    Join the contest and submit your Silverlight-based application no later than March, 6th!

    Our team of 5 judges including Cigdem Patlak, Emil Stoychev, Gill Cleeren, Brian Noyes and Tim Heuer will review all eligible contest entries and will choose the winners considering all judging criteria (originality of idea, graphic design/user experience, functionality, quality of implementation). You may also rate each of the entries and the three of them which got the highest average ratings will get our Community Choice awards.
